With intense challenges posed by globalized and national and local challenges today, civil servants are expected to meet the intended results of internal programs and projects. Further, following the Royal Kashoes, there is a need for real-time competency, and a demand for talent to manage and meet the intended results. Thus, in response to the need for increased clarity and accountability in government to organization programs and projects transformation, this module on Result-Based Management (RBM) is designed into FIT_AS (tier 2) to equip pre-civil service trainee officers to support knowledge and application of RBM tools and techniques to plan, strategize and manage change in programmes and projects in public sectors and civil service. The module will demonstrate and support trainees in determining the practical contribution of RBM to national effort (civil service) for achieving national (Five-Year-Plan) and organization development results through programme/project design, management, implementation and evaluation.
